Thorns (via his right arm/the Corazonix) has a few things going on. Notably:

1. He can sense the life forces of everyone around him. A specific radius isn't given so we'll operate on standard "within the game setting, as long as you're on the same plane of reality as he is" rules. This would include knowing if your character is alive or not, so if death happens to the character, he would be able to sense it.
2. He can also sense the emotions of people nearby, just like. Flatly. All the time. He cannot read characters' thoughts, intents, or future actions taken as a result of those emotions; he can just tell that the character is happy or sad or whatever else.
3. Other weird shit such as physically feeling heartbeats (if your character has one) and feeling a weird, alien sense of connectedness to the character (almost like a hivemind) that your character won't be able to feel, but he can. A one-sided hivemind.

If you opt out of either of points 1 and 2, 3 won't apply, so no need to opt out there since it's entirely one-sided on his end.

Any other notes for me a Wolfie?: idk how it works for it exactly but if you want to do something with how firefly is technically a ticking timebomb of Dying of Genetic Disease we can work something out for him sensing it. it might not register quite the same with sam because the SAM suit is her "cradle of vitality" that slows the progression of the disease a bit (and lets him not immediately clock her trying to keep those things separate--) but when shes outside of it it probably would register as "this bitch be dyin"
